Times of Malta, 4 April 2008 – Media Consulta’s commitment to corporate social responsibility saw the company’s staff take part in a tree planting exercise at Foresta 2000 on Marfa Ridge, near the Red Tower in Mellieħa.

The event was in support of Foresta 2000, the project set up by BirdLife Malta in collaboration with Din l-Art Ħelwa. Each member of Media Consulta’s team planted a pine tree.

The CEO of Media Consulta International, Harald Zulauf, was present for the event and even planted the first tree. Together with Andrew Warrington, managing director of Media Consulta in Malta, Mr Zulauf was delighted to present a donation to Foresta 2000. “I am impressed with the way our team has embraced the importance and the spirit of CSR. It is something we started to develop at the beginning of this year and it has really taken off.

“We have already donated blood at the Malta Blood Donors Association. Since January, we have been separating all our paper waste and delivering it to the WasteServ recycling plant in Mrieħel.

“We’re now planning further activities and initiatives, both as one-off events and ongoing policies,” Mr Zulauf said.
