beforeafterThe small canvas painting representing the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the Church of Our Lady of Victory has been restored by Amy Sciberras our resident conservator.The strainer and decorative frame were first disinfested. Unstable areas of the paint/preparatory layers were consolidated and deformations were improved. Surface deposits and grime were cleaned and losses were infilled. The decorative frame was also cleaned, consolidated and infilled. See slide show of more restoration work here
