ANNUAL SPRING FETE AT THE MSIDA BASTION HISTORIC GARDEN

SUNDAY 29th APRIL 2012

Come and see the Garden spring to life and help Din l-Art Helwa raise funds for the upkeep of this historic site. In 2001 this garden won the most coveted Europa Nostra Silver Medal for its restoration. It needs constant care and maintenance.

Have a relaxing time in the garden where you can find second-hand books, plants, bric-a-brac as well as fresh home-baked cakes and preserves. You can also enjoy a drink and a light snack at the refreshment stall.

Directions to get there: From the Bus Station go past the Phoenecia Hotel, turn right and walk down Great Siege Road. Cross the road just before the Excelsior hotel. Walk down the hill towards the main entrance of the hotel but bear left passing the public library and after about 100 yards you will find the garden on your right.

ENTRANCE FEE: Adults €2, children under 12 years free.
