Lecture by Sarah Gafa, The Original Technique and Condition of the wall paintings at the Entrance Hall of Verdala Palace, Buskett.

Next in our series of lectures we are  pleased to announce  the talk  by Sarah Gafà, Conservator-Restorer of Paintings and Polychrome Sculpture.  The lecture, which will be delivered in English is entitled,  ‘The Original Technique and Condition of the wall paintings at the Entrance Hall of Verdala Palace, Buskett’ . 

 Ms. Gafà will be looking into detail at these wall paintings consisting of  four allegorical figures, two coats-of-arms and two lunette paintings which are attributed to the Florentine artist Filippo Paladini (c.1544-c.1614).  On Thursday 14th March, at 6pm, at 133, Melita Street, Valletta.  Entrance is free but donations to Din l-Art Ħelwa wil be appreciated.
