The lecture will focus on an exclusive collection of drawings of the Ggantija Temples in the National Collection dating back to the early 19th century. These drawings, together with other illustrations including watercolours, engravings and lithographs, are the subject of a recent publication by Heritage Malta. The lecture will also give attention to a number of noteworthy visitors who visited this megalithic temple site on Gozo in the 18th and 19th centuries.
